Dogs, Cats, Goats, and Sheep…

I have lived in the Northwest my whole life and have always been fascinated by nature, animals and understanding the forces that shape behavior. My first experience in animal training and animal behavior was in a teen volunteer program at the Oregon Zoo. Socialization and training Pygora goats and Shetland sheep at a new farm exhibit. In particular, I trained Misty the Sheep and Betsy the goat how to come when called, station, and walk on a leash. Working with them started me on a wonderful path of animal training and care.

Twelve years of professional dog training and pet care experience has created a wiser trainer but I am dedicated to continue my understanding, knowledge and ability. I am a member of The Association of Professional Dog Trainers, www.APDT.com and a supporting member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, www.Iaabc.org.

Currently I hold a CPDT-KA certification with The Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers, www.ccpdt.org.

And I am certified professional with Fear Free Pets, www.fearfreepets.com.
